Like people, dogs come in a wide variance of body shapes, sometimes with excessive weight in some body areas, or simply common traits of some breeds with barrel chests. Often times a garment may fit a dog perfectly in the neck and length but be a little snug in the chest area. To go up in size may give the garment an ill-fitting overall look. Some breeds may have longer necks than average and may need some extension. Also perfect for the growing puppy or expanding tummy of the expectant mother.
The Extender allows for up to 2” of expansion in the chest or neck area on Velcro closure garments. Works with any type apparel item with Velcro closures.
